S 10-15-1943 William Wagner and Elvira Tess, married Oct. 9, living at 603 Conkey st.
S 10-15-1943 Frank Ehlschlager sold farm in town of Burlington 1 mile south of city and will have auction on Springbrook farm on Hwy. 83 on Oct. 21. S 11/12/43 - Mr. & Mrs. Frank Ehlschlager moved from Spring Brook farm to house they rented on State st.
S 10-22-1943 Elmer C. Karstedt and family moved from St. Louis area to Ward residence on corner of Lewis & Kendall sts.
S 10-22-1943 Mrs. Carl Martens, mother of Rollo Stine, living at 503 Schemmer st.
S 10-22-1943 Mr. & Mrs. Chet Kizer from Burlington moved to Othello, Wash.

F 11-11-1943 J. H. Bowers lived in the J. S. Crane residence on the corner of Jefferson & West sts. - house was later torn down. (This was the Harvey Uhen property on northeast corner.)
F 11-11-1943 James H. Murphy bought Brown's Lake place of Mrs. Jacob A. Barkey on north shore adjoining Mrs. F. E. Stone's place.
S 11-12-1943 Fred Garber bought George Engelhardt home on Henry st. from Mrs. Englehardt; Mrs. Englehardt plans to move to Tess Corners.

S 11-19-1943 Samuel McCullough and Elsie Rehbein, married Nov. 13, to live at 705-1/2 Pine st.

The Museum, History Research Library, and Pioneer Log Cabin are open Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm or by appointment. Please email to arrange an appointment.
