S 03-14-1947 Joe Nienhaus moved from Henry Kaddatz farm to farm near Genoa City.
S 03-14-1947 Frank Spieker sold and gave possession of his farm to Harrison Brothers. Spieker moved to home at Bohner's lake.
S 03-14-1947 Fred G. Pieters moved to Zabler farm in town of Spring Prairie owned by L. F. Koch.
S 03-14-1947 Charles W. and Lawrence J. Hansche of Kenosha bought former Thate farm of 160 acres, 3 miles south of Burlington, from Mrs. T. C. Schmidt.
S 03-14-1947 Martin Wegner, driver with Kellogg Ice Cream Co. for 8 years, to move with wife and four children from Burlington to Lincolnwood, Ill., where he bought a dairy store.
S 03-14-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Verne Lightfield moved to former Clem Vos residence at 943 Geneva st.
S 03-14-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Hensgen moved from her parents, the Clarence Kueckers, to Karcher cottage on Hwy. 83 south of Burlington.
S 03-14-1947 Mr. & Mrs. William Pieh moved to home on Kendall st. which they bought from Miss Emma Kautsky.
S 03-14-1947 W. E. Burns offers year-round home in White Oak park, Bohner’s Lake, for sale.
F 03-20-1947 New subdivision announced - town of Burlington - by Weiler, Huser, and Nelson. S 3/21/47 - Harold Weiler, Norbert Nelson, and Henry Huser. S 5/16/47 & F 5/22/47 - Nelson dropped out.
S 03-28-1947 Shell Oil Co. bought Weygand property on Pine st.; Charles "Jim" Wilson bought the two family house on the property and will move it to his property on the south end of Edward st. S 6/20/47 - Large frame dwelling facing Pine st. near corner of Jefferson st. for 3 generations moved a second time to make way for Shell Oil station. As Harvey Simpson home, it stood across street where Wadhams Oil Co. station stands; was moved to present site about 1921 by Henry Weygand. Now has been moved to corner of Perkins blvd. (?) & Wainwright ave. Also in F 6/19/47. F 2/3/53 said house was then at 310 Edward st. (House relocation)
S 03-28-1947 Application to sell real estate in guardianship of Mary Prasch; lots 15 and 16 of Prasch’s subdivision.
S 03-28-1947 Mr. & Mrs. John Lux given housewarming at new home at Cedar Park.
S 04-04-1947 Maynard Fourt and family moved from Burlington to West Bend.
F 04-10-1947 Paul Voss bought Henry Pruemers residence on Kane st. S 4/11/47 (2) - 428 Kane st. F 5/1/47 - moved in.
S 04-11-1947 Title clearance notice on land at Brown’s Lake, section 34 - Fred and Florence Tift and Mary Virginia Maginnis vs. Thomas, John, and Grace Boyle, Knickerbocker Ice Co., Hiddings, Ketterhagens, Uhens, Maginnises, Beckers, etc.
S 04-11-1947 Harold Weiler building new home on Emerson st.; Henry Huser to build house on adjoining lot.
S 04-11-1947 Douglas McKee and Carl Joys moved to former Mrs. Minnie McDonald residence on Chestnut st. which they bought some time ago.
S 04-11-1947 Hugo Fishman to discontinue farming; auction on farm 3-1/2 miles south of Burlington.
S 04-11-1947 Horace and Ethel Fraser petitioned council on zoning of their property near ballpark.
F 04-17-1947 For Sale ad - The Zwiebel residence at 601 Washington st. - by Robert J. Zwiebel. Also in S 4/18/47.
S 04-18-1947 Clarence Fell and Betty Jane Isferding, married April 12, to live at 315 Emerson st.
S 04-18-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Bauman of Burlington bought house at Long Lake recently vacated by Mr. & Mrs. Warren Milatz, who moved to Burlington. (mentioned twice)
S 04-18-1947 Emil Meinen to have auction on farm, known as old Herman Foss farm, 2 miles north of Burlington next to Wehmhoff farm (on Grove st.).
S 04-18-1947 Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Schroeder and Sandra of Milwaukee moved their house trailer to her parents’ farm, Mr. & Mrs. John Voelkering.
