Lincoln Ice Co. bought large club house on St. Mary's Island at Brown's lake from D. F. Bremner and tried to move the building over the ice to the Hoffman farm. The warm weather was not favorable for the project and the building went through the ice going down about 4 feet. It was then taken apart and to shore in sections. The company will erect the same near the present house on the Hoffman farm and use it for a summer hotel.
